Courtney Hight is Co-Director of Energy Action Coalition and Power Shift. This April, Courtney helped bring 10,000 young climate activists to DC to participate in the largest grassroots organizing training in history at Power Shift 2011. She continues to mobilize young people to help advance the US to transition to 100% renewable energy. Courtney has dedicated most of her life to organizing and building the political power of the Millenial Generation, organizing young people on the campus, state and national level. Courtney joined the Obama campaign early in New Hampshire and continued through 6 states ending in Florida as the state Youth Vote Director for the general election. Prior to Energy Action she worked at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
