Boyd Matson is host of the two-hour, weekend radio show “National Geographic Weekend.” Conducting interviews live in-studio and from the field, Matson connects with some of the greatest explorers on the planet. He also writes a monthly travel column for National Geographic Traveler magazine. Matson previously hosted “Wild Chronicles,” and was the longtime host of the award-winning series “National Geographic EXPLORER.” Prior to that, he held a number of television posts, including co-anchor of “World News Now” (ABC); host of “The Real Story” for CNBC; co-anchor and weekly correspondent for “USA Today On TV; original co-anchor of “Sunday Today” (NBC); and senior correspondent for “Today” (NBC).
