Janet Letts D’Ignazio is an author and consultant on transportation decision making and a vice president with ICF International, where leads its transportation line of business. As an executive with state departments of transportation (DOT) she worked with multi-agency teams including the Federal Highway Administration, state DOTs, state and federal environmental agencies, and local planning organizations to integrate environmental stewardship and sustainability with transportation. She is currently serving as the principal investigator for a significant national research project to establish best practice guidance for collaboration in visioning, planning and designing transportation improvements.  She specializes in integrated transportation decision making, environmental stewardship and streamlining, transportation and land use, air quality and transportation, context sensitive solutions and change management at state DOTs.
