Kenneth Berlin heads the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom's environmental and climate change practices, and has an extensive background in environmental and climate change matters.  He is general counsel of the Coalition for Green Capital and is chairman of the board of the Center for International Environmental Law, as well as former chairman of the board of the Environmental Law Institute. He is the author of several articles on clean coal and climate change, as well as lecturing widely on climate change issues. During the 2008 political campaign, he represented the Obama campaign as surrogate speaker on climate change issues at 19 events, and was on the Obama EPA Transition Team.
