Munjed M. Al-Sharif is the coordinator for the United Nations team focusing on the adaptation to climate change in order to sustain Jordan’s millennium development goals achievement. He is the senior water demand management policy advisor in Jordan and was previously the director of the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Center for Environmental Sciences and Technology and the head of the Water and Environment Sector of the Higher Council for Science and Technology. His research interests include water allocation modeling, reservoir management modeling, climate change and its effect on water resources, and decentralized wastewater management.
