Speakers

Doug Woodring is the co-founder and director of Project Kaisei, a newly formed NGO based in San Francisco and Hong Kong.  He is an environmental and technology entrepreneur, as well as a water sports enthusiast. Prior to working with startups, he created a framework for a global environmental technology fund at Merrill Lynch.  He has worked with a number of new environmental technologies including wave and wind energy, living vertical green walls, and lighting efficiency. He has a BA from UC Berkeley, an MA in international relations and environmental economics from Johns Hopkins (SAIS), and an MBA from Wharton.
