Michael Ware is a managing director at Good Energies, a venture capital firm focused on renewable clean energy businesses. He is the founder of Advance Capital Markets, a private investment firm with a long track record in the energy and power industries. He has arranged financings for wind, solar, biofuels, biomass and geothermal projects and has guided several companies from start-up, through venture financing, and later growth stages including the IPO process. Prior to founding Advance, he was CEO of Reliance Energy Services, the subsidiary of a $3 billion investment company.  His career began in 1973 at the Federal Energy Office, where he was part of the team that implemented the U.S. government’s response to the 1973 oil embargo.
