Brian F. Keane is president of SmartPower. He has been named “Connecticut’s Environmental Hero” twice for his work to promote clean energy and energy efficiency across the country. For their efforts, Keane and SmartPower have been recognized with numerous awards, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2010 Clean Air Excellence Award. A former advisor to the late Sen. Paul Tsongas and congressional aide to Rep. Les Aspin, Keane has built an extensive background in management, political organizing and communications.
