Dawn M. Martin is President of SeaWeb, a strategic communications nonprofit organization that uses social marketing techniques to advance ocean conservation. She has more than 25 years experience in the communications, policy and conservation field, having served as chief operating officer for Oceana and as political director for American Oceans Campaign. During the Clinton/Gore Administration she was appointed associate deputy administrator to the Environmental Protection Agency. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and studied international human rights and humanitarian law at the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France and the Henri Dunant Institute in Geneva, Switzerland.
