Ryan Wiser is a staff scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He leads research in the planning, design, and evaluation of renewable energy policies and on the costs, benefits, and market potential of renewable electricity sources. In addition to his analytic work, he regularly advises state and federal agencies on renewable energy policy, and he is an advisor to the Energy Foundation's China Sustainable Energy Program. He has published over 250 journal articles and research reports and is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley.
