R. Andreas Kraemer is director of the Ecologic Institute in Berlin and chairman of its Washington office. Active in sustainable development, environment policy, climate, and energy policies for over 20 years, he co-chairs the advisory board of OekoWorld, a capital investment company that sets criteria for the global investments of a group of ethical and green investment funds, and Oekom Research, a rating agency specializing in corporate and governmental or “sovereign debtors” ethics and sustainability. A board member of the Bellagio Forum for Sustainable Development, Solidarité Eau Europe, and the publishing house Oekom Verlag, he also coordinates the British German Environment Forum and lectures on European integration and environmental policy in the Duke in Berlin Program. He is particularly engaged in strengthening transatlantic relations and cooperation on environment, climate, and energy security.
