Eric Pooley is an award-winning journalist currently at work on Climate Wars, a forthcoming book about the politics and economics of climate change. A contributor to Time, Slate and other magazines, he has served as managing editor of Fortune; editor of Time Europe; national editor, chief political correspondent, and White House correspondent for Time; and political columnist for New York magazine. Last fall, he was the Kalb Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy, where he wrote a paper on “How Much Would You Pay to Save the Planet? The American Press and the Economics of Climate Change.” He speaks and comments frequently in the media about climate issues.
