Robert Grady is a managing drector and member of the management committee of the Carlyle Group, where he serves as fund head for Carlyle’s US venture and growth capital group and coordinates Carlyle’s global venture and growth capital effort. He also serves on various Carlyle investment committees and on the boards of several privately held Carlyle portfolio companies. A former director and chairman of the National Venture Capital Association, he was a managing director and member of the management committee at Robertson Stephens, the technology investment bank. He has lectured and taught at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and he worked in the White House Office of Management and Budget under President George H.W. Bush.
