David Malakoff

David Malakoff is a correspondent and supervising editor on NPR’s science desk. Since 2005, he has helped oversee NPR’s coverage of science, technology, and the environment and has produced his own stories on a wide range of topics. He is also a co-editor of Climate Connections, NPR’s year-long series on how people change climate and how climate changes people. Previously, he spent seven years at Science magazine covering the politics of science and research discoveries. He has also worked as a freelance journalist, nonprofit fundraiser, and director of an ecological research organization.
