Robert Williams

Senior Research Scientist at Princeton's Environmental Institute, Princeton University

Robert Williams is a senior research scientist at the Princeton Environmental Institute, where he heads the Energy Systems Analysis Group and the Carbon Capture Group. He is also involved in a research project exploring clean energy technologies and strategies for China. His interests include advanced energy technologies, energy strategies, and energy policy for the industrialized world and developing countries. He chaired the Renewable Energy Task Force of the President's Committee of Advisors on Science and Technology, and he was the principal author of the chapter on renewable energy in the 1997 report “Federal Energy Research and Development for the Challenges of the 21st Century and Report of the Energy Research and Development Panel.”
