Peter Seligmann is co-founder, chairman of the board and CEO of Conservation International. A leader in conservation efforts over the past 25 years, he has pioneered conservation tools that are economically sound, scientifically based, and culturally sensitive. He serves on the advisory councils of the Jackson Hole Land Trust, Ecotrust, and many other nonprofit organizations, including the Wild Salmon Center in Portland, Oregon. He began his career in 1976 at the Nature Conservancy, serving as the organization’s Western region land steward. He later became director of the California Nature Conservancy.
