Mike Boots is the director of Seafood Choices Alliance. Previously, he served as the environmental and natural resources advisor to the governor of California. He began his career in the early 1990s as a development associate for the American Oceans Campaign, and since that time has worked to engage businesses, policy makers, and consumers on a wide array of environmental issues. He also worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, forging solutions to water quality and coastal protection challenges.
