Alexandra Cousteau is an environmental advocate dedicated to exploring and explaining the natural world. In 2004, she and her brother co-founded EarthEcho International to further their family's legacy in science, advocacy, and education. She focuses on marine and freshwater conservation, management, and restoration, shark conservation, fisheries management, the safeguarding of marine protected areas, and other global water issues. Her newest initiative is WaterQuest, an effort to galvanize public participation in water conservation initiatives around the world through adventure and exploration, dynamic media platforms, educational initiatives, community campaigns, science, and advocacy.
