Sam Champion is the weather anchor of ABC's Good Morning America and weather editor of ABC News. He also contributes weather-related and environmental stories to other ABC programs and is at the forefront of the network’s reporting on the environment and global warming. The subjects of his stories and reports have ranged from wildfires, tornadoes, and ice storms to Earth Day, eco-friendly gardening, sustainable seafoods, saving on energy costs, and doing more to be environmentally efficient. Previously, he was the longtime weatherman for WABC-TV's Eyewitness News in New York City. He also worked at stations in Kentucky and Florida.
