Marah Hardt

Marah Hardt is a research fellow at the Blue Ocean Institute at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she does research and writes about how climate change affects marine ecosystems. Her work ranges from synthesizing current scientific literature for publication in academic journals to writing articles for popular magazines, and it combines her interests in marine conservation, diving, the history of science, oceanography, environmental science, and policy issues. She is especially interested in using creative media outlets to raise awareness of the current threats to and potential solutions for restoring abundance in ocean life.
