John Robb is an author, entrepreneur, inventor and a former USAF pilot in tier 1 special operations. He is the author of Brave New War (Wiley, April 2007), a book about the future of war and peace, and the founder of a number of successful companies.   His current focus is on developing networked resilient communities (see Newsletter) that can not only survive the future, but thrive in it.  These human scale communities provide an easily expansible architecture for a global civilization that would allow us to reach unthinkable levels of prosperity and achievement without destroying ourselves in the process.
