Bruce Babbitt served as Secretary of the Interior from 1993 to 2001, as Governor of Arizona from 1978 to 1987 and as Attorney General of Arizona from 1975 to 1978.  He is currently working on design of sustainable infrastructure alternatives in the Amazon headwaters region of Brazil and Peru as a fellow of the Blue Moon Fund.  He is also writing and lecturing on environmental restoration of the Louisiana Delta and making the case for regulatory reforms in the wake of the Gulf oil spill.
