• About the Aspen Environment Forum

The annual Aspen Environment Forum stimulates discussions on a broad range of topics -- from climate change to renewable energy policy, from technology innovation to natural resource conservation -- in a venue that encourages all participants and attendees to share ideas that can spark creative insights leading to real solutions.

The Forum is also part celebration -- a celebration of the wonders of the natural world and the continual discovery of aspects of it that describe who we are and where we came from. Many leading explorers, researchers and journalists attend the Forum to describe first hand the discoveries they are making and what new insights we can gain from them.

In the spirit of the Aspen Institute, our mission is to expand and enhance your views on key environmental issues and further your understanding of the complexities of the challenges we all face, through an extraordinary rich exchange, across a wide array of important environmental topics and ideas. By bringing informed dialogue to our campus, we aim to challenge and advance the thinking of all invited speakers and attendees, and to build new levels of understanding that bridge cultural and political differences.
